African Goldfields (Ghana) Inc. (AGF) is a Canadian company offering a unique investment opportunity. AGF is on course to bring a mine into production in 2009. This development pace is far swifter than the multi-year lead time common in the industry. AGF is positioned for speedy development and growth thanks to an agreement forged with Ghana-based and Canadian-led Warrick Mineral Resources Ltd. As a first step, Warrick has assigned to AGF the mining rights to a proven gold producing property. With gold trading at or near all time highs, this first property provides a solid foundation to begin building a highly profitable gold mining company – designed to add additional mining properties as it grows. The property lies in the gold-rich Prestea region of western Ghana. It offers a high grade vein of at least 1.3 km in length and 1.7 m in width. Similar gold veins in Ghana sometimes run to a depth of 200 m. AGF and Warrick are jointly pursuing other mining opportunities in Ghana and expect to announce more properties for development in 2008. |
